How to improve life of your car

Today, since of economic crisis in USA, most Americans have cut off their budget in spending money. One of the side effect is people will have to keep their cars much longer. They want to reduce the cost of maintenance and fuel. The better you maintain your car, so it will be last longer. So, here are some tips to maintain your car.

Car machine
Engine is the most important aspect of maintaining your car. There are many parts of it which connected each other. The first thing to maintain is the fast moving parts such as oil engine, oil filter,  oil gearbox, air filter and spark plug. Also make sure tune up the engine regularly. If your car engine is health and well maintained, your car will run smoothly and saves fuel.

Brakes
The next thing to overlook is brakes. There are many people don't really make attention fro them. The brake is one of critical part of the car for safety. Maintaining the brake will ensure your own safety when driving and avoiding you from expensive repair. For maintaining your brakes, you can do small things like always checks the brake fluid and pad brakes regularly. Make sure the brake fluid is enough and the pad brake thickness is good and for type of brake drum, always clean the drum regularly. Otherwise make sure your driving style is moderate, anticipate your stops and brake slowly. This can add up to a lot of money saved in repairs.

Wheels and tyres
This is also important things which affecting your car running and comfortable. Maintaining your tyres can be done with simple thing such as always check the air pressure is enough and make the pressure 1-2 psi more than normal pressure, check the thickness of tire groove is more than 3 mm, avoiding rough road surface and over loading carries.

Beside tyres, the wheels also will affect your car running. The well maintained wheels will make your car keep running straight and prevent from excessive thing such as over steer and under steer effect. Maintaining the wheels can be done with wheels alignment and balancing. This can add up save your tyres and fuel consumption.

Those are most important things to maintain your car due to retrenchment. When your car is well maintained, your car will last longer and can save up from unnecessary cost of repairment.
